Our laboratories sprang to life from Biarritz's vibrant energy and the endless inspiration that flows from the ocean. It is a place of authenticity, embodying the spirit of the natural environment with serenity, strength, and regeneration.
In 2012, a pair of ocean lovers brought Laboratoires de Biarritz to life. Trailblazers with an avant-garde vision, from early on, they knew that in the future, beauty would be harmonious with the environment.

In Biarritz, at the heart of the Basque Coast, our laboratory draws its strength and inspiration from the ocean. This rich and powerful environment provides us with one of its most precious resources: algae, or seaweed. Harvested responsibly along the French coastline, particularly in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Brittany, these marine organisms are the result of millions of years of evolution. Exposed to extreme conditions like dehydration, UV rays, temperature fluctuations, and crashing waves, seaweed has developed extraordinary defense mechanisms to ensure its survival.

When Laboratoires de Biarritz was created, we decided to take the demanding path of obtaining an Organic certification for our skincare. We committed to the highest standards, not frivolous labels, and in doing so, laid the foundations of
our rigorous approach to formulation, manufacturing, and transparency. We believe that healthy and responsible beauty must inherently be natural.
That is why we concocted formulas that exclude controversial ingredients like parabens, endocrine disruptors, silicones, and unnecessary additives often found in conventional cosmetics.
