Need something special to take care of the art on your skin? Our Reparative Tattoo Aftercare Cream, with custom packaging by the artist Sélune, was made for you. Let us tell you all about it.
Almost one person out of five in France is tattooed. Getting inked has become common, but if you want to keep your tattoos and memories, it is imperative to take care of them by repairing the surface of the skin but also by moisturizing and soothing it. In this way, your tattoo will last longer and will look just as good as day one (after healing of course).
A Multi-Use Cream
The Reparative Tattoo Aftercare Cream is a skincare product with four activities. All by itself, it repairs, moisturizes, soothes, and sterilizes tattooed areas. Indeed, getting the skin permanently marked requires creating puncturing at depth to put permanent ink.
For optimal repair, the tattoo artist Sélune advises removing the protective bandage 1 to 3 hours after the act and cleansing it in the evening. Only the next should you start the application of the Reparative Tattoo Aftercare Cream.
To do so, start by delicately cleaning the area with warm water, then softly dry it through light padding rather than rubbing. Then apply the cream two to three times per day via gentle massage for five minutes until healing is complete. Over the long term, the cream can be used to protect the art and avoid fading. What makes it great? It soaks in fast and is not sticky.
Synergistic Ingredients
Certified Organic, the cream is made up of 100% natural-origin ingredients. Its formula contains a combination of ingredients that promote skin repair in optimal conditions. Our exclusive patented extract, Alga Sendatu®, takes charge of the reconstruction at depth. The combination of Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Coconut oil, squalane, and plant ceramides & oils all participate in intensely nourishing and moisturizing. Alpha-bisabolol relieves itching, and zinc sterilizes the damaged area.
A Poetic Pack
Might as well look good while taking care of yourself, and why not include the pack. We collaborated with the artist Sélune, a resident of the Yoso Parisian tattoo shop. A Parisian city-goer, she is still particularly receptive to the natural world and the elements. “I enjoy the poetry of living beings on the body. Plants make up a big part of what I do. They are truly a lifeforce that can reach perfect symbiosis with the body”, she told us. And so it was only natural that she drew the plants that make up the ingredients in the product. In her finely detailed and meticulous illustrations appear Jojoba, coconut leaves, and the reparative red seaweed and aloe vera.
